Proud Mommy

I was so proud of Aryna today as we practice for our Christmas play, it was decided at by Mrs. Glenda that she would sing the first part of "Happy Birthday Jesus". At practice today, she did great, and I couldn't help but smile as I heard her. Then after practicing all week, tonight she was able to tell her Awana's teacher all 27 books of the New Testament. I couldn't be prouder. I had to brag a little on my little girl.

I am having a Holiday Make and Take at my house on the 11th and my best of Buddies are coming to that. I am so excited to spend some Holiday time with all of them. I will post soem pictures of my house when I get it cleaned up. So, if you are not in the Christmas sprit yet....it is time! Get there.

DR.

Okay, I finally gave in and went to the Dr. today. I just hate spending the money and I know that sounds silly, but I really thought I was getting better. But after a few weeks of not feel too good and one week of being REALLY sick, i couldn't take it anymore. I got two hinnie shots and an antibiotic, allergy med. and cough med. Goodness. It seems as though my allergies have gotten away from me. And I think this is the start of my allergy season, so I will be taking my allergy med EVERYDAY. It is too hard being sick and be mom, teacher, wife, cleaner.....ext. So, I now feel like recovery is coming soon. Thank you Jesus. Isn't he awesome!

Sick

We are all a little sick and Aryna won't stop coughing so I have decided to call it a sick day and take a day off from everything. We need to rest before anyone gets sicker. So, today we will be lazy and REST. yay!

BIG Boy

His Hinney!

He just started this smile thing for the camera

This is Wyatt in his big boy underwear. He is the cutest thing ever. He is so proud of himself and makes me clap every time he goes. Then he puts a sticker on his chart. He just got these new unders last night. He LOVES the cars on them and says "voom voom" every time I pull them up. They are a little big, but that is the smallest they make them. But I think he is just the cutest. OKay, I will stop saying that. I am just so proud of him!

Potty

Wyatt has had a break though and has gone two days with out any accidents. He is learning when he has to go and now tells us ans runs to the potty. It has taken a week of really working on it and being very consistent, which i think is the key. But after this week, I think it has really payed off and I am such a proud mommy! My little boy isn't so little anymore. We are going to go to town today and see how it all works with this potty thing. eekk.....

Our Trip

We are on a little trip. Friday after coop and Ballett, the kids and I took off and headed to New Mexico. We spent the night at Aunt Amanda's house, aka...aptment dorm room. Her and her 3 other roommate were kind enough to let us stay there. We left very early that morning and drove to Socorro, NM and went to Grandpa's house and rode the ever so loved "sparkles" pony. The kids had a blast. That night we went to the brewery and litstened to Grandpa and Great Grandpa play and sing. Wyatt slept through most of it but, Aryna and I enjoyed it. We spent the next day there and got to visit with Nanna ana Poppie also. Then on Monday, we headed for Tucson as the sun came up. It was a nice drive and we got there safe ans sound.
In Tucson we had a great time with Oma (my mom). We jammed 4 weeks worth us stuff in a week and two days. It was a fun trip and we got to help my mom paint murals on the walls of some of her Sunday school class rooms at work.
We drove back to Socorro on Thursday and stayed there till Sunday. We had a great visit with all our Grandparents. But then we got to come home and see our Daddy!!!!

School days

Just an update on school.
  • It is gonig GREAT. Aryna is a great student, eager to learn.
  • Aryna is starting to read. It was the neatest moment when I saw her eyes lite up as the sounded out a word, then actually "read" it. She smiled so big and yell, "Mommy, I am READING!" Wow, what joy and accomplishment. And I got to be there for it all.
  • We are loving being in the Home School Coop. It tends to be Aryna's highlight of the week. As she can't wait for Friday, becasue she gets to go to real school.....And I ask...what have we been doing all week??
  • Coop is every Fri from 9:15-3:00 for us and in that time Aryna gets to take a Characters class, where they learn manners and to obey and fun stuff like that, P.E., Spanish class, and Ballet. She has a blast.
  • I had to take this picture of the kids this morning as we were headed out the door to coop. Wyatt had to have a backpack on just like sister. They grow way too fast.

Okay, I couldn't wait.

I had to put up my fall decorations. I just wanted it to feel more like fall. Last week it was looking that way and my air didn't click on once, but this week it isn't as cool. The air is one right now. Oh well...Thought I would post a few of my decorations. The pumpkins I did with Uppercase Living letters. I had a lot of fun. I also am making a sign that says "spooky". I will post a picture when I get it done. And the wreath is one I just made for good old fall! The picture on the amour says Harvest in copper and i put some scrapbook paper behind it. It is very cute, but i couldn't get a good pic of it.

Is Fall in the air?

Is Fall in the air? I think I feel it coming. We have had cooler weather the last couple days, and I feel a little tickle in my throat, like I might be getting sick or allergies. Yes, I do believe that Fall is on it's way. Leaves are begin to change color, although at my house that color is not beautiful oranges and reds, just browns. I just love fall. Don't you?

A New Week, A New Door, kind of

Well, this is a start to another new week. And I pray that God will bless and guide me this week in school, as a mommy, and as a wife. We had a great Labor day weekend, just hanging out with the kids, Dave and Kassie, and Will and Amanda. Amanda came down for the weekend. Aryna loves her Aunt, but she did say, while sitting in Will's lap, that she doesn't like it when Aunt Amanda come, because she takes Will away form her. So, Will made sure he knew he loved her and danced with her. Aryna says he is now her new dance partner.
Ray and I also tackled cleaning out the garage this weekend. We need a storage unit, but for now, it sure looks a lot better. I also had Ray paint my front door because it was getting bad and I wanted to add a Welcome expression to it for my open house. Well, the painting didn't go too well because I thought he was a little better at spray painting then that. hehe, but it will work for now and only really looks really bad at certain angles. haha. So I enclosed a picture of my door with my expression and new wreath I made. I have decided that I would like to have a wreath for every holiday season or month. We will see how that goes.

Open House

I am getting ready for my very first Open House for Uppercase Living. I have been making copies, ordering more catalogs, making things to show the product and inviting as many people as I know. Which gets me really thinking that I don't seem to know very many people. Although...the people I do know are great! Just to keep that clear. Anyhow, my open house is scheduled for September 4th and I am getting excited. Hope all goes well. Then my friends Brianne and Shyanne are kindly having an Open House for me that following week. I am excited to get to fellowship with everyone. I also have a new website...http://jaymiewilliams.uppercaseliving.net Hope you will check it out.

School Days

Yeah. This is our first week of Kindergarten for Aryna. And we are loving it. I am thoroughly enjoying being her teacher and seeing her grow and learn everyday. I know this is only our first week of school and I can't get use to it going this great, but all I can say is I am blessed!
Blessed...
to have a husband that works so hard
to have a husband who loves me unconditionally
to be able to stay home and raise my children
to have the beautiful and kind hearted children I have
to be able to teach my children
to be me!

Isn't it neat?

Well, I am now an official Independent Demonstrator for Uppercase Living. If you have never just out this site you must! They offer hundreds of pre-designed catalog expressions as well as the option to custom design any expression you would like. These expressions can be placed easily and seamlessly on your walls or any other smooth surface. Witty phrases, spiritual quotes, meaningful sayings passed on for generations – you’ll find that Uppercase Living expressions complement your home with what they say as well as the way they look.

They have so many neat things you can do to decorate your home.

You can visit the site at www.uppercaseliving.com , from there go to Customer Corner Login. From there you are asked for some of your info and some of mine.
Here is what you will need from me:
Demonstrators ID: 508009
Registration Token: Williams

When you are signed on, you can view the catalog, order a catalog, and even design your own expression. I encourage you to try designing your own as it is lots of fun to play with. If you do design something you love, go ahead and save it and you can order it anytime.

I have found the prices to be very reasonable...especially if you think about how much paint is and how much of your time it would take to paint it on your walls yourself and the outcome of that. I view my self as a pretty artistic person and always say, "I can make that". But the crispness and professionalism of this product can not be compared to any of my work.

That is why I have decided to sell this product. I think it is so fun and neat. And we all have things we want to say...why not speak them out loud...on our walls!

It is a fairly new company so there aren't many Demonstrators out there yet. If you love this product as much as I do, please let me know. If you would like to place an order, you can contact me via email or phone. I am also looking to do some open houses to get this awesome product out there. Please let me know if you would like have an open house and share Uppercase Living with your friends and family. Please also feel free to give your friends and family the web site and the info needed to sign on to look at the catalogs.

LOVE

Our 8 year anniversary was yesterday. Instead of going out to eat.....since we did that so much last week...I made lasagna, salad, bead and tea. I put out my pretty dishes and whine glasses. Ray brought me home some beautiful flowers that finished off the table beautifully. I put on my new, beautiful pearls that Ray got me, and celebrated with Ray, Aryna, Wyatt, David and Will. It was a beautiful dinner and I enjoyed the company of them all. Aryna sang a sweet little Happy Anniversary song to us that she made up...I just love that girl. After that, I made Will take a picture of us all for a mug I am going to have made for my Grandpa for his birthday coming up. This is the picture that I decided on. I hope he likes it. He is the leader of music in the family. And such an awesome man. I love my Grandpa. On the mug I wrote, "If you're gonna play in Texas," and I didn't have room to write, "you gotta have a fiddle in the band" but I think he can fill in the blank.
Anyhow, I had a wonderful Anniversary and you can see my new pearls in the picture. What a wonderful Husband I have and an awesome 8 years, filled with love, tears, joy, growth in each other and our relationships with God, and two beautiful kids. Wow, I feel blessed.

I am here

This is the boys having fun!

This is not so fun. Need I say more. You can't see much but Wyatt had a bloody nose and his right cheek is beat up, but he is okay because I gave him a sucker. Dave's knee is bleeding and he got burt.

I haven't posted in forever! Time flies so fast.
* Two weeks ago I help pack my Best Friend and her family up for there move to Fort Worth. And I have to hug her good bye. One of the saddest days of my life. I do realize that she is only 4 hours aways, but we had finally became neighbors.
* The next week I kind of bummed around and didn't get too much done. But accidents happened countless times to my crazy son Wyatt....and all I can say is "I serve an awesome and almighty God." I know Wyatt was in His arms through all of the crazy things that happened that week. I pray every night and day and even every time I leave the house, for the safely of my and my family. When I told my mom of all the events of the week, she said now she understands why I pray so much. My God is MIGHTY!
* This last week, we got to go swimming with Steph and the kids and Shanna and her kids while they came down for a few days. I think we all had a great time. Shanna was kind enough to have a slumber party for all the girls at her house. Aryna had a great time and felt so special to be apart of it all. Thank you Shanna and Steph for allowing her to feel like she is a part of the family!
* Tuesday Steph and the girls went back to Fort Worth and Aryna and I went shopping. It is a good way for us to ease the pain of good byes. We went to Target three times that day. Really, how many times can a person go to that store in one day. Is that a record? And just so you know, I did buy something each time. eekkk. We ate lunch at Sunset Grill and then Dinner at our usual, Rosa's for Taco Tuesday.
* Wednesday, my good friend Melissa was in town from San Antonio and want to have lunch and she had never been to Sunset Grill, so we went AGAIN! Hehe....and it was still good! That night we went to church and Melissa and her mom joined us. After, the church all went to Pepe's for Dinner. Then we came home and I made cookies for the boys and we have ice cream sundays on top of the cookies. YUM
* Thursday we stayed home and cleaned and just relaxed. Steph, Cam and the girls came into town to close on the house and took us all out for Dinner at Chile's. We all had a great time and left stuffed!! Then we went to target to return something, and I can't remember if I bought anything else. I don;t think so!
* Fri, I got to spend to whole day with Steph and the girls. It was such a blessing to be with my best friend even if it was only for a day. We hung out and then went shopping, and tried to figure out what we are going to use to teach our beautiful girls when we start school. I think we might have made so progress! But all in all our time together was priceless! And yes, we did go to Target that day. eekk!
* Saturday we were invited to two birthday parties. One was at Brown's pool, which Aryna LOVES, and we had a great time. The second party was for Karter who turned one. It was at Brianne and Duane's and all their family and friends were there. We hadn't seen any of them in 2 months, and we had a great time catching up. Friends are such a blessing to have.
* So, i think that wraps up the last two weeks. I feel empty without Steph here. It is going to be sooooo hard, but I think God is with us both and helping us through it all. I miss you Steph! I told her the other day that maybe God did this to us so that we would actually hug each other every now and then, and now we do! Every time we say good bye.
* Today was church. I am really enjoying our Pastor and this church. I think we are fixing to become member of it.
* I am BLESSED! so blessed.

Home

We are home. We got home Sun. night. Our trip was a blast! It is soooo good to see our family. Ray and David came to Tucson on Fri. to watch Aryna's VBS performance. Then Sat. morning we left good old Tucson, and my beautiful mommy :-( and headed for the great state of New Mexico. We got to spend a few hours with Ray parents and sister. Then we headed for my Dad's. But that night he happened to be singing at The Stage Door Grill. So we all got to go and hear my daddy sing and Great Grandpa get down on his fiddle. And I got to sing two songs with daddy. We had a great time there. Sunday we left Socorro and headed home. Some how it always takes longer to get home. But it is good to be home. The kids are having fun with all of their toys and I am still trying to get the house back in order and unpacked. But we are home now. Although I miss my mommy a lot!

Update

Wyatt has been using the potty a few time a day. Usually just when I take him. But I am very proud of him. I am not going to start potty training until he is TOTALLY ready, but we will just have fun with it till then.
It is HOT here in Tucson. 108 today. But we are having a good time. Enjoying ourselves and love spending time with my mommy. We have one more week here and this week is VBS. I am doing the crafts, so I have been busy getting everything ready for that. Hope all goes well.
Ray has also been busy while we are gone. Him and Dave and Will. Those guys are GREAT. I did make them 4 batches of chocolate chip cookie dough before I left (that is enough for 100 cookies). Those boys have done so much for me while I have been gone. The first week they put the roof on Arnya and Wyatt's club house thing one their swing set. They put a white metal one to match our roof. Then they ripped up the Capet in the living room and hall way, so we now have just concrete, but I think it will be better then that yucky carpet on our allergies. Next they built me a beautiful shelf for my bed room that will house me TV, that had been on the floor since Dec. So I am very proud of those boys. YAY! They are great.
So, this is my up date. hope you have a great day.
Verse for the day:
"Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people."

Pottty

This morning, Wyatt (in his own language) told my mom, his Oma, that he had to go potty. I was in the back getting our laundry and I can in and my mom told me to come here. She said "Look what I am doing." And she was wiping Wyatt. He has peed and pooped in the potty. I was so proud of him...I guess he is smart after all. hehe

911

Calling 911 is one thing I never thought I would have to do. But it had to be done last night. We picked my 81 year old Grandma up from the home she is living in to take her and the kids to the park. We were all having a good time when my Grandma looked a little faint and feel to the ground. My mom caught her though and we had her sit there for a while. Then she said she wanted to get up. My mom and I looked for a place for her to sit down and found the closest one. While my mom was taking her there, she just melted in her arms. She made it to the seat and sat behind her propping her up since she was as limp as a leaf. We called 911 and while we were telling the dispatcher what happened, we had to check for a pulse many times. One time we really thought she died right there. The ambulance got there in minutes. And why are the paramedic always so darn good looking? And the nicest guys ever? Anyhow, long story short, Grandma is out of the hospital and doing well. Something about her blood pressure. And mom got to ride in the ambulance. Lucky her, I guess. So, 911 is a scary thing, but they were the nicest and made the whole experience as pleasurable as possible. Thank you 911 and the wonderful paramedics they have! They really are awesome!

And a side note: Wyatt was leaning on my mom's side table and leaned a little too hard. Mom has a heavy antique lamp made of metal with a glass shade that can tumbling on Wyatt. Mom also has a glass top on the table that is not attached on the table. My mom and I saw it all happen but it happened so fast, yet so slow...know what I mean? We tried to catch it, luckily the glass on the table didn't fall on Wyatt, just the lamp, which only broke on the glass part, which somehow won't be seen and Wyatt only cried a little. Through all of that, Aryna saw it all. While I was holding Wyatt as he cried, Aryna looked up and said "Thank you Jesus for keeping my brother safe". I was such a proud mommy! "Thank you Jesus!"

Missing Daddy

Last night Ray sent Wyatt a picture of himself to my phone. Wyatt layed there kissing his "Dadda". He finally rolled over and and feel asleep holding the phone. He wouldn't let it go. His misses his Daddy.

CPR

Yesterday, my mom's church was offering a CPR class, although I was suppose to go to the VBS meeting since I am doing crafts, I wanted to go to the CPR class. So, the class was so much fun. My mom is in charge of aranging the classes and she knows the teacher, named Ryan, who is a Fire Fighter, need I really say more? Anyhow, I had more fun then expected. My mom picked the kids up from child care after her VBS meeting since mine lasted an hour later. Wyatt pushed the alarm button in the elivator, luckly mom knew her security code when the alarm people called to check on them. Not to metion he skined his knee and knocked his head. Anyhow, it was an eventfully night, but fun at the least.

Tucson

We are here. After 12 1/2 hours in the car yesterday, we are in Tucson, AZ. It is suppose to be 105 degrees today. It seemed to feel HOT at 6:00 this morning. Yes, we were up that early since Texas time is 2 hours later. Anyhow, we went to church this morning and the kids did great in their classes and had fun.

P.S. on the Haircut...Wyatt ended up getting a REAL haircut before we left for Tucson on Fri. at a barber. I will post a pitucre soon. It is VERY short, pretty much shaved. But he is handsome!

Hair Cut

Well....Wyatt was in need of a haircut and some how I got it in my mind that he needed it shaved. How could I possibly shave that sweet little boys hair. So beautiful and thick and handsome. hehe....any how, Dave, my brother said he could do it....he had some little tiny clippers.....So, he tried and they just wouldn't cut much. So I thought I would thin it out a little and then maybe they would cut better. But while I was doing that, I just couldn't handle the thought of all of his hair being shaved off....so, this is his new hair cut...by his goofy mommy. I might have to take him in to get a real haircut soon....but this is it for now.....until we go to Tucson anyways.

Mom and Sister in town

Yay! My mom and sister are in town. It is so great to see them an spend time with them. They got here late Sat. night, and will be here until Fri or Sat when we will go back with them to Tucson for a few weeks. Sun was my mommy's birthday. We had a little party with her. Anyhow, thought I would catch up on what is happening here.
Oh yeah, the yard sale went....hehe....we didn't have a great turn out but seemed to get rid of a lot of things and make a little money, which is always nice. The garage is looking nice and will look even nicer when I donate the stuff that didn't sell. Yay!

Yard Sale

Trying to rid your life of things you own can be a hard process! But I must declutter our lives and not to mention our house. Mostly our garage that has gotten way out of hand. We worked on Aryna's room yesterday and I am such a proud mommy. She wanted to get rid of stuff cause she said she had too much and wanted other girls to have the same. I just felt her giving heart and swelled with pride. So she did very good decluttering. I still have the garage to finish. I am getting rid of all of the baby clothes. A little sad, but would rather them be used then just sitting there. And in due time, if God chooses for us to have another blessing, then we will just buy more stuff. But I have to say, it does feel good getting rid of stuff you didn't even know you had.

Weekend View

Saturday Aryna and Wyatt and I shopped a little and then came home. We got the kids a knew tire swing to put on their swing set. It looks like a horse. Ray and the kids put it up while I went out with Steph.
We had a great time. First we went to get a pedicure. How fun is that. We got matching toe nails that are pink, tipped in orange with a white line separating the two colors. Very fun and summery. Except my line turned yellow i guess from mixing with the orange. Anyhow, very cute. And thank you Steph. It was part of my birthday present. Yay! After that we went to Target and stocked up on butterfingers, peanut butter m&m's, gummy worms, and soda. Then we went to Chickfila and split a sandwich. Then we got to the movies and bought pop corn. Do you see where I am going ? We were a little sick to our tummies as we watched Made of Honor. Very cute movie. A must go see.
Sunday we went to church at Northridge Baptist Church. We are in search for our new Church home. We enjoyed the service and the people. We went Sunday night also and the kids had a blast at Awanas. So, we will continue there and see if that is were God wants us.

Finally

Okay, after four years with my beautiful daughter Aryna and all most a year and a half with my son Wyatt, I have deiced to blog. Why? So many reasons....to get things off my chest, to share my moments with others and to have something for my kidos to look at later in life. So, my first post.....nothing too exciting today...went to the Dr. for a check up, then we went to town and had lunch with Ray. Later we went shopping with Steph and her three kids. Stores sure love it when we all show up. haha We went to Hancock fabric for Steph and I ended up buying two lamps and two lamp shades for my room. All i can say is you can never pass up a good deal.
Then we went to Target. That is always a trip in itself. Steph and I both found at least 8 swim suits each to try on....with our 5 kids mind you, running from dressing room to dressing room slamming doors. Anyhow, somehow we both made it out with a swim suit that we like alright. I kind of settled on mine because it was cheap. But then again....you can't pass up a good deal. So that we our day. We came home and cleaned the car. Yay! exciting....to have a clean car.
