Aryna had the amazing opportunity to do a shoot with The Bear Media from Austin on Saturday. I was so neat to experience this and Aryna had a blast. When it is done, it will air on the Disney Channel on the series "The Time I..." It is about the time she collected the shoes for her birthday. She had such a fun time that she wants to do it again! :-) I would too if I had the attention of 6 people for 5 hours :-) Go to The Bear Media to see some pictures of the shoot that the crew took!

Aryna celebrated her 7th Birthday this weekend. What a fun time she had. Her Ballet teachers form our homeschool co-op came and taught the girls ballet. That was Aryna's favorite part! She loves Ballet!! And I have to say, she looks like a ballerina to me :-)
This year she collected shoes for an orphanage in Guatemala (Post to follow)

This is her invitation. I made a tiny tutu that went right under that cake on the invite. I thought it added a lot :-)

We had a great time! We had he party at the church so we could have a room just for the "ballet Studio" It worked out very nicely, but I have never had a party anywhere other then our house and it took some planning and preparation to get it all done and over there.

We had Aryna's favorite:
Chicken Salad with grapes and pecans, on cocktail crescents, veggies and ranch dip, fruit with yummy fruit dip, lots of candy and gumballs, and Chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese icing and yellow cupcakes with butter cream icing. YUMMM

Aryna's sweet ballet teachers Chelsey and Jordan even came early and helped me set up. They looked beautiful as they danced and did a great job with the girls!!

Aryna had her birthday party this past weekend. What a fun time we had. Aryna loved what her brother did on his birthday and really wanted to do something like that for hers. This is a little devotion she did 4 different places about what was on her heart...

"For my Birthday this year, I want to do something special for someone else. I have been very blessed in my life with a home, my own room, a mom and dad, a brother, food, clothes, and even toys. I know there are kids who don't have any of this. I found out about an Orphanage in Guatemala called Cases Bernabe, by my mom's friend Kim, who is going there on a missions trip in March. My mom was going to go too, but she is having a new baby brother or sister for me and can't go now. We asked Kim at to ask the Orphanage if there was something I could collect for my birthday. Toni at the Orphanage told us that shoes are like gold to them, and she has 165 kids who need shoes. So, my goal is to get a pair of shoes for each child at Casa Bernabe. These Kids don't have a mom or dad, but they have a good home at Casa Bernabe with a loving staff who take care of them and teach them about Jesus. I hope they smile when they see their shoes.
Romans 12:10-13 says:
"¹⁰ Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. ¹¹ Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. ¹² Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. ¹³ Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. "

and Acts 20:35 reminds us of Jesus' words himself. It says:
"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to
receive.’ "

I want to end with the song "Shine your Light" because I want to be a shinning light for everyone around me and for the kids at Casa Bernabe."

Aryna was able to give that devotion at Community Bible Study, at Wall High School for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, our homeschool Co-op, and our Church.
She has had an great response from people opening their heart and having the want to give! It has been awesome!!

Wyatt's 4th Birthday!

Wyatt had a great birthday in DECEMBER! I know, I am late on this post, but I was about to post Aryna's birthday that just happened and I couldn't do that without posting Wyatt's.
So here it is!
We had a turtle Birthday! He loves turtles!

We had a friend who had these big tortoises and we were able to borrow them for the Birthday!
The kids thought they were very neat.

This year Wyatt collected toys for Toys for Tots. He kept seeing the boxes at Walmart and asked about them. When I told him they were for kid who don't have toys, he said that is what he wants for his birthday. So we asked the kids who came to his party, if they would like to bring a present, please bring a toy for Toys for Tots instead.
As you can see, he got a lot! And somehow, he also got some himself....stinker!

After the party, we brought the big box of toys to the Marines in charge of Toys for Tots. They thought it was so neat that he would do that.
We are very proud parents!!

School days!

Yes, we finally did start school! And it has been a blast. I LOVE that my kids are so excited to have school! Makes it a lot easier on me :-) Aryna begged me to start in the beginning of Aug. I just had too much CBS stuff to do! I couldn't do it! So we FINALLY started after Labor day! Wyatt loves learning and "doing school"! That TUesday we were starting, he woke up early with Ray. While they were in the kitchen he asked for some juice, "but in a sippy cup please dad, so I can take it to school". Ray told him the school was held right where he was sitting. "oh" he said. He is doing really well and enjoying himself. Ray and my Dad think he might be able to write before he can talk were people understand him. :-) I just think he is GREAT! Aryna is just flying though. She is doing great. At first it seemed as though she had forgotten EVERYTHING she had ever learned......but is in now ALL coming back to her. I LOVE it! I am so proud of her!!

We also do Co-op on Fridays. Wyatt had sign language, snack and P.E. and story time. Aryna has science, P.E. and Sign Language. (a funny note on the sign language, I am teaching in both of their classes....learning with them....haha) Aryna is also taking an Art class at teh Art museum on Mondays and Ballet on Fridays!

Okay, so 3 1/2 months isn't too bad........hahaha...for not posting on my blog! So I thought I would.
We got to spend some time with my dad and Grandparents in New Mexico over the 4th. We had a great time!
July was filled with 250 kids and 5 days of crafts at VBS in Tucson with my mommy. We had a great time, went swimming everyday, it got to 110 degrees, we went to the desert museum, and the wildlife museum, build a bear (of course) and spent great times with friends!!

August flew by way to fast. I am the Children's Director now for CBS (Community Bible Study) so I was busy this month training my teachers and getting everything ready for it!
It has been going great! We have 51 kids registered and have been averaging 48 every week! What a blessing seeing these children grow every week! I LOVE them.
Then that pretty sums it up for those months.....

Wyatt's 3rd Birthday was eventful. We had 18 or so kids, two crotch rockets one little 4-wheeler, one little motorbike and a BIG truck named Big black.

We had hot dogs, yummy cake, snow crunch, peanut butter balls, veggies and dip and chips, all washed down with lemonade or orange soda.

We gave the kids rides on the 4-wheeler, ate, and opened presents. Wyatt's present (the motorcycle bike) was delivered specially by Big black. His face was priceless and a little timid too.

When most left, Brandon (the owner of the red crotch rocket) was doing a wheelie down the street and wrecked his bike. It was the scariest thing and we all saw it. Ray ran up while I called 911, but he was already up by the time I got outside. HE WALKED AWAY! Praise God! With only some scraps and sore spots, and a pretty wrecked bike and helmet. The Helmet no doubt saved his life!

So, as I am very emotionally drained form the days events, I have been thanking God for the safety of us all and expecially Brandon. Needless to save, Ray was able to whitness to him and we are very hopeful that he will be in church tomorrow morning. Please join me in praying for his heart and thanking God that he is alive. God is good!

P.S. Wyatt made out like a bandit! He has every truck and motorcycle ever made!

We woke up this moring to a nice blanket of snow. At least 2 inches thick! Wyatt got to see and touch snow for the first time, and Aryna, for the second:-) What fun. Wyatt didn't like touching it really. He said, "Mom, this is COLD!" and wanted me to dry his hands off. But he loved walking in it. Aryna just wanted to saty under the covers, but then finally decided to go outside. In my shoes since she couldn't find her rain boots. WHat a beautiful day. But I feel like I need to bring in all the animals...1 Pony, 10 goats, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 bunny. I guess I better not. Ray would probably find out :-)

Is it only me, or does time fly for you too! I know that December just started yesterday, but I feel like it is going to be over before I know it and I have so much to do I feel! Just that time of year I guess. We had a nice Thanksgiving with Ray's parents. The turkey was GREAT if I may say :-)

My dear friend Shanna took some picture of the WHOLE family for our Christmas cards. I think she did a great job and I am going to share a few with you, but I don't want to give away my Christmas card. haha Thank you Shanna for blessing me with these picture of my family! I love them!

We went up to Joshua and Clebourn area to help move my best friend Stephanie to their new home (for a while). I have to say I fell in love with it up there. It was green and lush and lots fo people had ponds.....I WANT a pond! And it was such a blessing being with her, Cam and the girls! I miss them so much!

So, here we are....the first week of Dec. I have my last CBS Bible Study for the year. I will miss those ladies over this month. Coop is ending on Fri. and Wyatt's THRID Birthday is coming up!

I am please to introduce to you the newest addition to our family...

Charlie Brown. He is the cutest thing ever and we are just having so much fun with him. We got him from some friends at church. Charlie's mommy just wasn't crazy about him, so we took him and are bottle feeding him and being his mommy.

Ray said, " I have to draw a line somewhere Jaymie. No livestock in the house." Well....somehow I convinced him to let me just hold him for a while. I didn't expect him to really let me just sit and hold him, but he did for almost a half an hour. Until he got really hungry and started to try to suck on my chin, so I feed him.

Wyatt or Aryna, or both of them feed them four times a day. I make the bottle and then they know what to do. Just a need way to teach the caring of animals and responsibilities. Isn't God great! He is awesome!

I had a GREAT weekend. I left my family :-( and even my little baby (Wyatt) whom I have never ever been away from. I went to Fort Worth with my friend Kim for an Uppercase Living convention thing. We went to that on Fri night and then Sat. morning we meet my best friend Stephaine and Diane and Shanna, and got to see Beth Moore for some tapings! It was such a blessing! It was wonderful! I can't begin to tell you how fun she is to listen to! I got home on Sat night and was pretty tired. Sun, went to church and then we were all suppose to dress up for AWANA's so here are a few picutres. I hope your weekend was wonderful as well.

This week I have a "Thirty-one" bag and gifts party at my house for a friend, CBS (my Bible study) and co-op, and then Ray's big 30 on Sat. We are have our Anual Ray and Jay Halloween Party, where everyone dresses up and we have a pumpkin carving contest. Can't wait to get together with everyone.

Dave and Kassie celebrated their 2 two anniversary this week. I love these pictures of them.

Not much has been going on. We did take the youth to Fields of Faith last night and it was so touching seeing so many kids give their lives to God or surender to the ministry or go down for prayer. I couldn't help my tears. Makes you so proud and gitty inside!
We took all the kids to Dairy Queen after wards and these are my crazy kids....being themselves :-)

ALL of the stuff I made!

It is fall. I didn't get to decorate as soon as I wanted to, but I finally got to. I have been busy making signs and stuff for The Chicken Farm craft show that I did on Sat. Well, I didn't do so good. But it was fun. And I got to make some fun stuff for it.

Now that is done, I am getting ready for Bunco that I am hosting on Thursday. Always fun to get together with seom great ladies, play a game and eat some food :-)

Things seems like they have been busy lately. I have been selling lots of Uppercase Living and putting a lot up. Takes some time. Also getting ready for a craft show on Sat. Making lots of fun Halloween signs and stuff. Having fun with that, but it has been a little time consuming and hard work! Lots of painting. Here are some fun pictures form when my mommy was here, and we had RAIN! Haven't had much of that lately. Homeschooling is going well, co-op is fun, and CBS has been great. I am now a core leader and having a great time with that.

I just realized how long it has been since I have posted a new blog. My mom got here safely except for the deer she hit 15 mins from San Angelo, and the $3500 on damage to her car (actually my sisters car :-)
What a blessed time I had with her! I miss her so much and cherished every minute with her. It was fun for her to see how my life runs. Usually she come during Christmas and we don't really have things going, but with home schooling, CBS (Bible Study) and Home school Coop, she really saw how my life runs. haha...and I will never forget taking her to Micheal's, just to look.....She say.....so, this is what you do huh? :-) Yes mom, this is what I do. She is use to working all day at a church in Tucson and only really going to stores like that to get supplies for the children's department. But, I think she enjoyed herself. I know we all loved having her here!!! And wish she could just move here! Maybe someday it will happened.
As for now, I need to focus more on Aryna's school (since I slacked a little while mom was here), get ready for an open house and a craft show, texture my bathroom, and maybe paint it if I can decide on a color. But definitely get it textured soon!
I am in the process of trying to get organized. I brought in a book shelf thing I had in the garage and my sweet mommy bought me some photo boxes to put all my business cards (Please don't ask how many different ones I have....Okay, I will admit I have a problem!!), post cards, note cards, make-n-takes, ribbon and other junk I have for Uppercase Living. I feel good having that part of my life organized, and someday will have school organized to....hopefully! I want Ray and Dave to build be some storage, so we will see how that goes down....or if it ever does!

What a day, what a weekend, what a minute. I feel like a lot is going on lately and there is too much to do and too little time. But if you asked what I had to do, I couldn't tell you too much. So I am not sure why I am feeling that way lately, or maybe just today. I have two open houses that i need to turn the orders in but I am waiting on one person and have been for a while, so after many contacts, I am just going to put the order in. In my orders, I also bought lots of stuff for me to make for a few crafts shows I might do, one in Sept, Oct and Nov. I am doing holiday stuff and it is just so much fun. Kassie (my some day sister-in-law) loves doing crafty stuff and wants to help and maybe sell her own crafty stuff too :-)
We have been teaching the youth at church and took seven of them camping on Sat. I am just glad they are all still alive with the way they rode those 4 wheelers. The kids had a fun time and even got to go fishing in a little stock pound. That was their ever fishing experience. And they also had a blast on their little 4-wheeler although they both scared me a little:-)
We are going to the Unite and Conquer concert with Third Day and Skillet and a whole bunch of other bands on Sat. Looking forward to some awesome LIVE praise music.
My mom got robbed last week and is just having a hard time right now. Please keep her in your prayers. It is so awesome to see what a strong Godly woman my mother is. She just got through a divorce, my grandma is not doing well and in hospices, one of my aunts just broke her hip and the other is not doing well either, and she just got her house robbed. But through it all, she is at peace! I am only be so lucky to grow up to be like her. She might be coming this week if everything works out, so Ray can change the locks on Dani's car. Spare keys got stolen so they had to change a lot of locks. I am hoping she gets to come and spend some time with us. I miss her sooooo much!
So, even though I have a migraine and have had all day, and feeling sluggish and just bummed by stupid things, by the time I finished this post, my aptitude has changed. And I know that as bad as my day, or weekend, month, or even minute is, there is always someone whose day is worse. And I am so blessed! Thank you Jesus for my life!

Fist Day of SCHOOL! 09-10

Yay! Today is the first day first grade for Aryna. After talking me into it, we started today instead of waiting a few weeks like I wanted to :-)
We had a good first day. I am praying that this year is full of joy in learning, and enthusiasm. I want our goal and focus to be on God. We will be reading the Bible daily together and she reads it at night with her daddy. We are also going to CBS (Community Bible Study) where she attends her own class and learns lots of Bible stories and verses, and we will be starting AWANA's soon where she is a CHAMP at learning her verses. Makes me such a proud mommy. I want my little girl to grow up to me a beautiful Godly woman.
This year we will really be focusing on improving her reading. which is her love, and science experiments that she LOVES.
I pray that I will be the teacher she needs and loves, and that God will teach me along the way to be the best I can be (mother, teacher and wife).
In the mean time, I can not believe that my first born blessing from God is in first grade!

Here are some pictures from the beach and such.
This has been a busy week. My sister in law Amanda moved in on Mon. and David and Kassie are coming home Fri. Excited to have a full house again. I love that my kidos get to have some family in their early years :-) I will never forget growing up with family everywhere. So many memories made!
We have been getting Amanda settled in and trying to find places for all of her stuff, and getting all of her "things" transferred to Texas. I had an Open House on Tues and will have one tomorrow night also. I love getting to meet so many neat women. This weekend I plan on organizing and rearranging stuff.
Today, I read about always keeping our focus on God. As long as our focus in on God's majesty, we have a bounce in our step. But if we let our eyes focus on the dirt under us, we will grumble and gripe at ever rock we kick or crevice we have to cross.
"Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to the things going on around Christ- that's where the action is. See things form His perspective"

We are HOME!

We are home. We sent the timer in our car during our trip (the 5th-11th) and we were in the car a total of 53 hours in those 7 days. We had a great time. The traveling wasn't too bad. I have the most awesome kids ever. They did great. And the beach was a blast. Aryna is our little fish and Wyatt is our sand boy. The wedding was beautiful. And I even got to dance with my love. I will post some pictures. But for now....I am HOME and home for a while. Not planning on going anywhere soon.

I had a great last week with my best bud Steph. We went to lunch with friends, had a yard sale, cooked lots of yummy food, had great family dinners, and listened to the 8 kids play and cry. It was like it use to be. Times I miss, and LOVE having. We even ended our time together with some of the best pedicures ever!
I am now getting ready for our trip to North Carolina. Packing, finishing wedding and anniversary presents, going shopping for food and things needed. We are working hard tonight to have most of it done before we leave.
Aryna is spending the night with her best buds, that are like cousins. She got picked up today at 5 and I won't see her until after VBS tomorrow night at 9. I have never been away from her her this long in my life! I miss her!
So, good-bye for now. We will be back on the 15. Driving 24 hours one way, going through 7 states! Aryna has her map ready and is s0 excited to see the different states! And I am so excited to see the beach!

Good Old days

Had a great day with my best friend today. Just like the old days. Good times. Don't you wish sometimes that things could be like they were. Only on certain things. But there are a few on my list. Things that I just miss, people that I just miss, times, that I just miss. So I say, cherish today and make some good memories out of everything!

As I read my devotion today watching the rain fall and admiring my beautiful kids, I read about some "God given, time tested truths" and just really thought about how true they are.

Love God more then you fear hell
When no one is watching, live as if someone is (one of my favorites...even when we think someone isn't watching, there usually is)
Succeed at home first
Don't spend tomorrow's money today (If only more people would live by this...)
Pray TWICE as much as you fret!

and lastly.... God has forgiven you; you'd be wise to do the same (not as easy as it sounds sometimes....and sometimes WAY easier then it sounds!

These are defiently things I want to work on in my life to make it better for God, me and my family. I want to be a better person and strive to be more like God.

Today, at 7 our time, Ray and I will have been married for 9 years. I was 18 years old, just a baby it seems now. When I look back as to what our lives have become, I couldn't be happier! We had a yard sale on Fri and Sat. We got a rid of a lot of stuff.....but not enough. I was sick most of the weekend and still.....so Ray had a have the sale mostly by himself. I was so pound of my man who doesn't talk to people. He actually said HI to people! Anyhow, we went from 4 puppies to none in one day.....it was sad. Wyatt cried his eyes out when a lady pick HIS puppy first to go. He cried for about an hour saying "I want MY puppy" or something close to that in his language (which sounded pretty close to that!) So we are puppyless now too. Hard, but nice not having to feed 8 dogs!

Wyatt and Aryna are madly in love with our 6 puppies. Every time I turn around they have one in their arms. Aryna even puts her doll clothes on them sometimes. Aryna has cried a few time, just thinking about having to give them away. It is going to be hard....but next week they are ready to go. We do have homes for 2 and maybe 3 of them.....but it is still hard.

There just isn't much to post about lately. The weather has been raining and cloudy and luckly in the 80's or low 90's... a big change from the week before when it was above 100 every day. Today it has been raining since we woke up. Hummm.....what to do.... Well, Aryna decided since she can't really go outside and play, why not color with chalk in the house on the living room floor. Hummm....now what will Wyatt find to do? Not sure I want to know :-)
Anyhow, Uppercase Living has been going great. I have had quite a few open houses lately and I am meeting so many new awesome people. That is why I starting selling it and it is really paying off money wise and in the friend aspect too. I have a lot of fun. Well, I started this new thing were I want to give homemade gifts for birthday parties that kids get invited to. Our first one I made a stick horse and decorated a cowboy hat and made a Sheriff's badge with the boy's name on it. Then we had one today, so Ray and I made a marshmallow gun and spray painted it red and put his name on it with Uppercase and supplied him with a bag of marshmallows that said Ammo on it. We are invited to a Birthday party this weekend for twins...a boy and girl. I have been wanting to make a crayon roll thing. So....I found it! My sewing machine! I am so excited. So this is my version of it. I made it with a place mat from Dollar Tree and markers and a note pad.

We meet the neatest people this week. Shanna knew I have been wanting some more old windows. Well, she saw in ad in the newspaper for some windows. Well, she called and must have been the first caller because the lady said she could have them, but if she takes one she must take them all! Well, Shanna and i thought we could go and get them....little did we know!!! Well, luckily Ray said I could meet him there after work and he would drive his truck. You can see in the pictures how many there are! They are treasures to me and I have lots of fun ideas!!! So, thank you to the Kirking's. They were very kind and showed us around their BEAUTIFUL house! And while Ray and Chuck were so kindly loading our SECOND load of windows (very heavy i may add) Diana took me and the kids on a buggy ride. We had so much fun. It was great meeting such neat people! And thank you to Shanna for thinking of me! I love when God brings people into my life. I know he has a reason for me to meet all the people I meet.

All moms’ thinks their kids are better then the rest.
But sorry moms, my kids are the best!
I have two, a boy and a girl.
They keep me moving like a tornado in a swirl.
I remember the day they each were born.
My heart was so heavy with joy, it could have torn.
As, Ray and I held them tight,
We promised each other and God to raise them right.
I am so blessed as a mom, to stay home and raise them there.
Those precious moments with them I was able to share.
The very first smile, crawl, pull up and walk.
I was there for it all and even their first talk.
Those things, like their birth, is forever in my heart.
Oh, but there are so many other memories. Where do I start?
How about all of the road trips and mile we drove?
And the many times in the cool pool we dove.
Barbies, dolls, tea sets, kitchens, ponies and swings.
And then there are those, animals, reptiles, trucks, cars and many things with dings.
How about all the early mornings awake,
And all the trips to ballet and cheerleading we would take.
Then there’s the room for Aryna that has to be the best.
So, here comes mom. Did I hold up to the test?
I took pink and red paint, rhinestones, ruffles and fabric galore
A vanity, crystal chandeliers and all the trips to the store.
Maybe, a long the way, I made a little mess.
But it turned out perfect for Aryna, the Rodeo princess.
Now about that boy, oh what a boy!
He loves to fall, jump, and ride and makes everything into a toy.
I mean really, why would you want to jump and fall on your knee?
And where does all the dirt come from, because on him that is all I see.
Gray hairs might come early because of Wyatt.
But I melt when he smiles and picks his mommy a flower of violet.
So even those days when Aryna is a little sassy and girlish,
Or when I am chasing Wyatt on his four wheeler, I can only wish…
Wish for so many more days to come.
Because without them I would be a bum.
Yes, sometimes I don’t get what I want,
But I need to do what God wants.
And I believe he wants me to raise them to grow…
Grow up to tell others of Him and how he loves them so.
So, for now, in my life, in this season,
I devote my life to God, Ray, Aryna and Wyatt for that reason.
I thank God for Blessing me too.
And for Ray, I couldn’t do it without you.
So, Motherhood to me, in a word or two…
Is the best thing anyone could ever experience and do!

I cut out this glacier for them to sit on out of foam to give a 3D effect. Also, we put glitter all over the glaciers with mode podge for a sparkle effect that can only be seen in person. Sorry.

We went to the Botanical Gardens while we were in Tucson. We had a great time learning about all the different and unusually plants that grow in the desert. They also had a place called Butterfly magic. And oh how it was full of magic! It's our God so awesome. He is such an artist! You walk in and almost feel like you are in a fairy tale land full of these gorgeous colorful creatures flying around you and landing on plants and even you. How great it is to be in a place and sense God all around you. Isn't that how we should feel where ever we are? He is after all, ALWAYS with us.

We are here....in Tucson. We have been very busy since we got here and this is the first time I had a chance to check up on everyones blog. My mom and I have been working on a room at church. It iwll be an Artic Room. For some reason she thinks I am a muralist, But I don't remeber me being one. All that aside, I make myself be one while I am here. Last trip I took here, we did the cattle car room. That was lots of fun to me. Well, now is the Artic room and it is starting to come along. I think. Yesterday I felt like I was making some progress, when after 5 hours working on my polar bear and baby, I am almost done with them. Then I will start my seal, then another polar bear and then....well, I am just tring to get as much done as I can before I leave. I will post pictures when I am done.
Today we went to the Botanical Gradens here in Tucson. It was beautiful. THey also have a place called Butterfly Magic where yuo go in with the butterflies and they are everywhere and land right on you. What a fun day!

In school, Aryna is learning about friendship this week. We were suppose to make a friendship bracelet for a friend. Well, it suggested using the ABC beads which I thought I had, but couldn't find so I thought I would think outside of the box. So, This is the bracelet we ended up making with a computer, scrapbook paper, bottle caps and mod podge. Thought it turned out cute, and now Aryna wants one of her own.

Well, we have had this drip....okay, LEAK in our hall bathroom for a few weeks. I am talking one that filled up a gallon in 10 mins. Not looking forward to seeing that water bill! Anyhow, we have fixed it a few times, but finally decided to tear the whole thing out! Thanks to my handy brother Dave and Ray it is coming together! Here is the bathroom on Sat. Now the tub and sheet rock are in and we will begin tiling maybe tonight! SO exciting! Yes, I will be repainting and the floors, toilet and sink and stuff will all be redone, but not this week! One hour before her 5th birthday party, Aryna gets a fever of 101.7 under the arm. ugh...She doesn't want to cancel, but doesn't want to wake up either, so I let her sleep until people start showing up, hopping she will be okay. The Tylenol kicks in, she gets dressed and has a great time with her friends. Yay! SHe had a great 5th birthday party after all!

I am sick still! Still....it has been over two weeks now. I have to get better to finish party stuff and Aryna's room. Going to the Dr. in an hour. My throat hurts more then i have ever thought it could, both ears HURT and I haven't slept for 5 night now and my nose.....plus, my eye....pink eye? I think this is the sickest I have ever been!
Shot me now....I told Ray to, but he said no. But I have faith that today is a turn around and I am going to get some awesome medicine from the Dr. not to mention God IS healing me.

Here are a few more goat pictures. The kids LOVE their goats and play with them every day. Here is sneak peak of Aryna's room. It is starting to come a long a little now. Diane took the fabric home and is going to start working on the bed skirt, shams and curtains! I am waiting for the chandelier and quilt and drawer knobs to come in the mail. Can't wait till that all gets here. And Dave and Ray are going to start her shelves this week. Yay. It WILL come together. And MAYBE even in time for her birthday.
As for the mural, I am going with one of Amanda's ideas and doing a really big picture of Aryna and Cupcake and cutting it in fourths and putting it in four frames....kind of like a mosaic. I thought this would grow with her more and we can change the picture every year or so as she grows. So I am waiting for that to come in the mail also! yay!

This is Wyatt, and who we now call Goof Ball. Goof Ball and his two sisters (pictures are to come!) were born on Wed. Goof Ball wasn't able to stand and we didn't believe he had gotten any milk, so some friends from church came over at 10 at night and we feed him some colostrum and formula. They didn't think the mommy, Sugar had very much milk so we decided to bottle feed him. We call him Goof Ball because when he was learning how to eat he would stick his tongue out on the side. It was really goofy. Anyhow, he got to sleep inside that night and woke me up at 4 to feed him. He is the sweetest thing. That next day I took him out with his mom and sisters and he started eating like he knew how. So they are all out with their mommies and seem very healthy. More pictures to come!

Started her room on Monday, took me from them till last night to clear and clean it out! Thew Lots away and have yard sale boxes. This morning I am painting....PINK....and it is PINK. Arnya picked the color called Fairytale Pink and she loves it, I mean loves it. So, I am hoping to finish painting today and then I need to paint her dresser and stool and so forth...oh and then....then her and cupcake on her wall......yes, she wants ME to paint her and her pony Cupcake on her wall....ME.....ugh. So, I will try it for my daughter!

Wow, can you believe it? I had a great month. I think....it went fast!
Well, February is here. Now it is time to finish Aryna's birthday invitations, and work on her party favors. All 18 or so of them. She keeps on thinking of more and more people to invite! So, the list goes on and on and I am not sure what I am thinking making what I am making, but I just hope they turn out as cute as they are looking in my head. I am going to have to recruit lots of Kassie help. I am forever thankful for that creative girl! Pretty sure my dad is coming for her party. So that is exciting! Oh and then the cake.....I will worry about that later!
So, this week we went to Lewisville and got to spend some time with Steph and the kids. We all had a great time! Thanks to Steph I never had to drive...I am not a big fan of all those cars.
My high school friend Becky is coming to town tomorrow, so I am excited about that! It will be great to catch up a little.

Where has January gone?

I feel like it just flew away. But I feel like it has been a good month generally. My best friend, Steph and Cam got home safely form China. God answered some prayers and reminded my what a power full and awesome God he is. I really should need to be reminded! But he did! Aryna is doing great in school and getting better at reading and can now count in 10's, 5's and 2's. She gets so excited! Wyatt is really starting to talk now and put lot of words together and I can even understand most of it. Other might not be able to though. God is blessing Ray at work and he is taking some classes online for more certifications and we get to go to Lewisville the first week of Feb. to take a test for the certifications. And we get to go with him and spend some time with the Stanges'! We are all excited.

Good times

I had a wonderful holiday. My mommy was in town. We went to parties, had parties, enjoyed parties. Christmas morning I got to wake up to what Santa brought, and my beautiful children, and see their faces, and my husband, and my bro Dave, and Kassie, and my mommy, and Will. I felt so special to have so much family around me. It is kind of bitter sweet. It is hard being away from our other family. My daddy and Step mom and Grandparents and Ray's parents and sister. What I would give to have everyone together. But for now we take what we can have and enjoy every moment of it.
I had such a blessed time with my mommy. I enjoyed every moment of it a savored it!
This week we tried to get our lives back in order. We started school and have had a good week. Aryna learned to count by fives and thinks it is so much fun. She has practice for cheerleading tomorrow night and her first game on Sat. She said she is getting nervous. How cute is that!
Wyatt is doing great with his potty training. I guess he really isn't in training anymore. He is flying high in big boy unders and has been for at least two months now.
So for this new year.....I wish to......

spend time daily in His Word
learn His Word
be a better mother
the best mother I can be
no more yelling
keep my house cleaner
be the best wife I can....give 100% to my marriage
be the best freind I can be.....all of my friends deserve that!

And I haven't even metioned that I am really missing my friend who likes to travel the world without me. I got to talk to her today and I was so giddy inside. I miss you Steph! She comes home on Monday. Can't wait to hear everything!

I was so proud of Aryna today as we practice for our Christmas play, it was decided at by Mrs. Glenda that she would sing the first part of "Happy Birthday Jesus". At practice today, she did great, and I couldn't help but smile as I heard her. Then after practicing all week, tonight she was able to tell her Awana's teacher all 27 books of the New Testament. I couldn't be prouder. I had to brag a little on my little girl.

It is finally starting to feel like Christmas. And the stress is on! I have to make Wyatt's birthday invites and get them sent out this week. Christmas cards are also on my list of to do's. I need a pictures of us! The house is beginning to look like Christmas too. Yay! Just waiting on a tree. Can't wait till that comes in our house smells so good with a fresh smelling CHristmas tree. I also got some wallflowers from Bath and Body works and it smells like the Holidays here! Christmas shopping is pretty much done, now I just need to wrap. I am having a Holiday Make and Take at my house on the 11th and my best of Buddies are coming to that. I am so excited to spend some Holiday time with all of them. I will post soem pictures of my house when I get it cleaned up. So, if you are not in the Christmas sprit yet....it is time! Get there.

Okay, I finally gave in and went to the Dr. today. I just hate spending the money and I know that sounds silly, but I really thought I was getting better. But after a few weeks of not feel too good and one week of being REALLY sick, i couldn't take it anymore. I got two hinnie shots and an antibiotic, allergy med. and cough med. Goodness. It seems as though my allergies have gotten away from me. And I think this is the start of my allergy season, so I will be taking my allergy med EVERYDAY. It is too hard being sick and be mom, teacher, wife, cleaner.....ext. So, I now feel like recovery is coming soon. Thank you Jesus. Isn't he awesome!

We are all a little sick and Aryna won't stop coughing so I have decided to call it a sick day and take a day off from everything. We need to rest before anyone gets sicker. So, today we will be lazy and REST. yay!

This is Wyatt in his big boy underwear. He is the cutest thing ever. He is so proud of himself and makes me clap every time he goes. Then he puts a sticker on his chart. He just got these new unders last night. He LOVES the cars on them and says "voom voom" every time I pull them up. They are a little big, but that is the smallest they make them. But I think he is just the cutest. OKay, I will stop saying that. I am just so proud of him!

Potty

Wyatt has had a break though and has gone two days with out any accidents. He is learning when he has to go and now tells us ans runs to the potty. It has taken a week of really working on it and being very consistent, which i think is the key. But after this week, I think it has really payed off and I am such a proud mommy! My little boy isn't so little anymore. We are going to go to town today and see how it all works with this potty thing. eekk.....

We celebrated Ray's 29th and Will's 22 birthday on Halloween with a little party at our house. We had a great time with family and friends. Thought I would post some pictures of our costumes. Kassie won the Costume contest and Jason and Caden won the Pumpkin Carving contest. I decided to be the "cowboy" this year so i dressed up in Ray's clothes, and Ray was a golfer, which is totally not him. SO, Happy Late Halloween and Happy Birthday my Love! I am so blessed to have this man in my life. I love you Raymond Paul!

Our Trip

We are on a little trip. Friday after coop and Ballett, the kids and I took off and headed to New Mexico. We spent the night at Aunt Amanda's house, aka...aptment dorm room. Her and her 3 other roommate were kind enough to let us stay there. We left very early that morning and drove to Socorro, NM and went to Grandpa's house and rode the ever so loved "sparkles" pony. The kids had a blast. That night we went to the brewery and litstened to Grandpa and Great Grandpa play and sing. Wyatt slept through most of it but, Aryna and I enjoyed it. We spent the next day there and got to visit with Nanna ana Poppie also. Then on Monday, we headed for Tucson as the sun came up. It was a nice drive and we got there safe ans sound.
In Tucson we had a great time with Oma (my mom). We jammed 4 weeks worth us stuff in a week and two days. It was a fun trip and we got to help my mom paint murals on the walls of some of her Sunday school class rooms at work.
We drove back to Socorro on Thursday and stayed there till Sunday. We had a great visit with all our Grandparents. But then we got to come home and see our Daddy!!!!
